Cambridge Accreditation

A Cambridge International School

IFBS is an accredited Cambridge International School, meaning our academic programme is set, examined and quality-assured by Cambridge Assessment International Education, part of the University of Cambridge.

Cambridge International Curriculum

We follow the Cambridge International Curriculum, blended with certain aspects of the UK curriculum, throughout the school. This curriculum is created and managed by the world-renowned Cambridge International Examinations organisation, a part of the Cambridge University organisation.

Every subject, from Primary through to Sixth Form, is mapped against Cambridge learning objectives, so progress is measured against the same benchmarks used by Cambridge schools worldwide.

Cambridge Curriculum Integration

The curriculum sets a global standard for education and is recognised by universities and employers worldwide. It is flexible, challenging and inspiring, culturally sensitive yet international in approach.

Our intention is to use the Cambridge curriculum to develop curiosity and a desire for learning which will last throughout our pupils' lives, while staying rooted in the bilingual, Tunisian identity of the school.

Global Curriculum Connectivity

Over 10,000 schools follow the Cambridge International Curriculum. This means pupils will easily find another Cambridge school if they need to move countries. The transition from one Cambridge school to another is easy, and there are also strong links with the National Curriculum of England and close similarities with other international curricula such as the International Baccalaureate programme.
